PRE-EVENT
Before the event, the Emmanuel Osemota Foundation team visited All Saints Model Nursery & Primary School to meet with the headteachers, staff, and community leaders. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and anticipation as plans were laid to ensure that every child received educational supplies that would inspire not just learning — but hope.
During these discussions, the team reflected on Prof. (Mrs.) Lucy Amadin Osemota’s legacy — her unwavering faith in God and her lifelong belief that “children are God’s heritage and the foundation of the future.” This guiding principle became the heart of the mission: to bless every child, nurture their dreams, and remind them that faith in God can open doors to a brighter tomorrow.
The school’s leadership and teachers expressed deep appreciation, recognizing how this initiative would lighten the burdens of many families while reaffirming the values of love, service, and community that Prof. (Mrs.) Lucy Amadin Osemota taught for decades.
THE EVENT
On that beautiful morning, the Emmanuel Osemota Foundation team arrived to a warm welcome from students, teachers, and clergy from the All Saints Cathedral community.
The event began with songs of praise and prayers, dedicating the day to God’s glory. The Foundation team shared touching words about Prof. (Mrs.) Lucy Amadin Osemota, a faithful servant who devoted her life to teaching children the Word of God and shaping their moral and spiritual foundation. The pupils listened with excitement and admiration as they learned about her life of humility, kindness, and service — qualities that still inspire generations.

As the team distributed backpacks filled with notebooks, pens, pencils, and learning tools, they reminded the children that these gifts were symbols of love — and that through faith, obedience, and diligence, they could become all that God created them to be.
The day was filled with laughter, songs, prayers, and thanksgiving. Many children openly prayed for the donors and the Foundation, expressing joy that someone cared enough to remember their community.

GRATITUDE
The Lucy Osemota Education Fund Backpack Giveaway in Auchi was a powerful reminder that God’s love is best shown through service to others. We give all glory to Almighty God, whose grace made this outreach possible. We also thank the dedicated teachers and clergy of All Saints Model Nursery & Primary School and Children’s Church, who worked hand-in-hand with us to bless the children. Our deepest gratitude goes to the donors and partners of the Emmanuel Osemota Foundation, whose generosity continues to shine the light of Christ through education and empowerment. Through this act of faith, hope has been rekindled, lives have been touched, and futures have been shaped — all to the glory of God.
